3 Days Semiliki National park, is located in Bundibugyo district, where there many beautiful scenaries of the western Albertine Rift valley.
It takes maximum 6-7 hours, as you have a stopover for lunch at Fort Portal town before you continue to the park.

Semiliki National park, is situated to the western border of Uganda and Congo Republic which is nearby Lake Albert, covering an area of the Eastern part of Ituri forest that joins Uganda, Congo River. The park is a mythologist which hosts over 400 bird species and many of them are bird species, tree species, 11 diurnal species and 53 mammal species.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1-Kampala-Semiliki National park
Early morning after breakfast, our guide picks you up from the hotel, upon arrival, residence depending on your preference thou a number of people are picked up from the lodge due to their arrival time in Uganda. At 7am set off to Semiliki National park, this early morning travel enables us to reach on time in order not to catch up with the traffic jam on the way, drive through the amazing sceneries on the way as you spot a number of cattle’s, grasslands. It takes approximately 7 to 8 hours on the road from Kampala.
Arrive at the park check in at the lodge, relax have dinner after you will encounter for a night game-drive you will have a chance to spot a number of big cats, golden cats, slender and white –tailed mongoose, serval cats and diminutive nightjars and many more.

Day 2: Morning activity
Early morning after breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your lodge, and head for nature walk to see a number of geysers shooting from an 8meter wide at a hot temperature, one of Uganda’s famous hot spring.
you will have a chance to boil eggs and matooke.
During the trail to the hot springs, you will have a chance to see a number of bird species such as the Blue breasted Kingfisher, primates including the grey cheeked mangabey, red tailed monkey, there after proceed to Mungilo waterfall, in this area there birds one can spot, it’s a great opportunity for bird lovers to see a number o bird.
Trek the primates including the chimpanzees, the trek is optioned for morning or evening since during lunch time Chimpanzees tend to hide.
Lodges of great value during your stay, later on return to the lodge for relaxation, have lunch, unwind.
In the evening have a chance to enjoy a game drive; you will have a great encounter of seeing a number of different mammals such as the Buffaloes, antelope, Hippos, Elephants, Lions, big cats and many more.

Semuliki National park is eye catching because of the Sempaya hot Springs, the natural springs are geyser shooting from 8 meters wide at a hot temperature, which is the largest in the Country.
DAY 3:SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK-DRIVE TO KAMPALA
Early morning you will have breakfast and go for a short game drive to spot out some of the animals you could have missed out during the previous evening game drive these include the warthogs and many more after you will prepare to return to Kampala with lunch en-route.
